About Us: final_final is a little co-working space in Grey Lynn (the space used to be a corner store). We’ve been around for a year and a half and our aim has been to create a space that serves to enable the local creative community in various ways. As well as being a space where we work part-time on freelance and person projects, we’ve hosted markets, workshops, clothes swaps, games nights, etc. You can find out more here on our website, and on instagram and facebook 

Tiny Markets: The Christmas Market will be the sixth of it’s kind, and is set to be the biggest yet. We hold the market inside our small studio (hence the Tiny bit of Tiny Market). The idea is to offer an accessible platform for local creatives to sell products that they have produced. We wanted to make the market as low-risk as possible for people to get involved, so rather than people paying a set fee for table space, we instead ask for a 20% cut from goods that are sold. This means that if there’s anyone who doesn’t end up selling any products, there’s no financial loss at all. We have also tried to make sure the process is as easy as possible as well. Due to our space being quite small, we run things more like a pop-up store, than a typical market. We don’t allocate space to people, rather, we get stock dropped off at the studio over the week leading up to the event, which we catalogue and sell on the maker’s behalf. People are, of course, welcome and encouraged to be around on the day, but it means that if anyone did have any prior commitments, or was unable to come along then they wouldn’t have to be present at the market in order for their products to be available.

If you know of anyone else who might want to participate, feel free to get them to get in touch—we’re aiming to have a wide range of new stock this time around, rather than relying on products that we have had in the past. Also if you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask.
